The woman behind the Heirloom

At the heart of that story is Dr. Sherry Lee Hoppe.

Sherry was an educator, author, leader, and a woman whose life was defined by intelligence, generosity, faith, and service to others. Throughout her career, she served as president of several colleges and devoted much of her life to education and leadership. She was also a prolific writer, authoring numerous books and devotionals centered on faith, hope, love, purpose, and perseverance.

But to our family, her greatest legacy cannot be found in a title or on the cover of a book. It is found in the lives she changed.

Sherry cared deeply for her family. She gave generously, encouraged relentlessly, and created opportunities that changed the course of our lives. Her influence continues in the people she loved, the words she wrote, and the lessons she left behind.

When the opportunity came to create something new from what she had left me, I wanted it to be something meaningful. Something beautiful. Something that could be passed forward. That is where Heirloom began.

Why Heirloom

An heirloom is more than something inherited. It is something treasured enough to carry forward.

Heirloom Parfumerie is my way of honoring what Sherry gave our family while creating something entirely new from it—a place built around beauty, discovery, connection, and the idea that what we leave behind matters.

Her legacy helped make this dream possible. Heirloom is what I chose to do with it.
